Desert Nomadic Organic Farm is dedicated to the production of red chili powder which made from raw red chilies produced in our farm. The crop of red chilli plant is grown on organic soil which contain cow dunk and compost fertilizers which are also collected from our own cattle waste. Crop is Irrigated through drop irrigation method. Our land, soil and cattle are our mother nature and for us organic farming is not just about using organic farming method but also respecting and loving the land which provide us our living. The entire farming team of desert nomadic organic farm work on this ideology the more love we give the more love we receive in form of nutrients in our products. The process of converting red chillies into red chilli powder in our Desert Nomadic Organic farm is an interesting process, let us understand the whole process how the organic red chilli powder is obtained.
First of all, we collect our organically produced red chillies from our desert nomadic organic farm and select the best out of it. The next step is to sun dry these red chilli for 3-4 hours till the moisture is fully evaporated. Once the red chilli completely losses its moisture they are taken for the next step. In the next step the stem and the seeds of the dried red chillies is removed. After the seeds & stems are removed the chillies are then put into Pastel (aukhli) and then beaten by Mortor (Musl). This process is done by hard working village women. Red chillies are continuously beaten until they are converted into coarse powder. Once the coarse powder is prepared, it is then transferred to glass jars in a very hygienic way. Maintaining purity as well as hygiene is utmost important, thus providing the best quality to our customers. The glass jars are then seal packed. This is the complete process of manufacturing.
Some people has stopped using red chilli powder and started using green chilli as they believe they might be facing stomach related because of it, but we would clear one thing it’s not the red chilli powder because of which you getting health issues but it’s the way they manufacture it, some manufacturers grind stem, seeds and waste matter and even the waste red chilli and chillis with fungus because of which it becomes white in colour for hiding it they add artificial flavour, preservatives and artificial colour which is very harmful for health. They grind it all together in the machine which runs on a speed of more than 2500 RPM and get overheated. Now because of which the red chilli loses its aroma and nutrients.
This is the reason because of which we remove the seeds of these red chillies because according to Aryuveda, we shouldn’t have to eat red chilli’s seed as it causes health problems such as stomach burning, acidity, digestive problems even kidney stones etc.
We choose this method of Pastel (aukhli) and Mortor (Musl) to manufacture red chilli powder because there is no way in which nutrients of red chilli vanish. This process ensures that all the nutrients retain in the product itself.
